Nice to meet you.
I’m a bit of a late bloomer when it comes to design. From 2015 - 2018 I worked as a licensed social worker in Columbus Ohio. During those years I was fortunate enough to meet some truly inspiring people in the design world who helped me realize It was possible to turn my creativity into a career.
I spent two semesters taking night classes at Columbus State to get my feet wet in the Adobe Suite, then moved to NYC in 2019 to complete a full time graphic design program at Shillington. It was the best decision I ever made.
After returning home from NYC I joined the design team at Wowbrands, an agency in Grandview focused on retail marketing solutions. As a part of this team I’ve had the opportunity to learn a lot about the digital marketing world and develop my digital design skills.
In addition to my day job I also co-own and operate a training gear and apparel brand called BIJONARI. We are obsessed with martial arts (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai in particular) and have been fully dedicated to growing our brand in the local martial arts scene for the past four years.
When I find a moment to step away from the computer, it is most likely to step onto the mats at Short North Muay Thai. I have been a student there for almost 12 years and I’m fortunate enough to have earned a position as a regular instructor after years of giving it my all. I love Muay Thai and it has changed my life for the better. Most significantly it showed me that anything can become a creative outlet if you choose to express yourself through it.
5 years in to my design career, I’m still loving every second of it. I am always looking for new opportunities to grow and push my design skills to the next level. If you would like to get in contact, feel free to shoot me an email.
